Description: | We exploit dual cameras at different resolutions and exposure conditions to reconstruct detailed color image with high resolution and normal illumination. |
Perceptual Quality Assessment of Immersive Images Considering Peripheral Vision Impact | |
Description: | We study the peripheral vision impact on the perceptual quality of immersive images rendered in virtual reality equipped head mounted display, and derive closed-form theoretical models that explicitly describe the visual thresholds in terms of quantization stepsize and spatial resolution as a function of the degree of the eccentricity without perceptual quality degradation. |
